The Tech Sheet For Your Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Ect - Will Help You fix Your motor

I'm Don Rowan. I'm back again to give you some more tips. In this report I want to share with you some of the information that the the suppliers and tech's use to help them outline out how to repair your appliance. First, most appliances have a tech sheet. This tech sheet contains information about the machine for the aid repair man. Sometimes it contains the error codes that can sometimes help you outline out what the qoute is. If you cant find your tech sheet and are in need of finding a error code, many appliance repair sites comprise a list with a organize list such as ( Whirlpool, Kenmore, Ect ). An example would be like: A Ge oven has a F1 error Code, in many cases this would be a touch panel or main operate qoute and the tech sheet sometimes will give you a way to outline out witch one is causing the error code. Some of the Microwaves have a flow chart in the tech sheet that will also help in diagnosing a qoute with the microwave. If you are working on a side by side refrigerator and are having problems with the ice machine the tech sheet sometimes is placed in the lowest kick plate and will have detailed information on how to test your ice machine. You now can see how important a tech sheet can be for the repair someone to help repair your appliance.

After a tech or repair someone figures out what part is causing the qoute with your appliance, they might need to find the part number. It might be placed on the part and it might not. You will need to find a diagram or breakdown of the machine to locate the part estimate so it can be purchased. There are a few sites on the internet that will give you this information. They will require a model estimate and some also require a serial estimate as well. Each of these kinds of sites work a dinky differently but you will half to have a model estimate to get a diagram to come up. If your machine is over 10 years old your appliance might not come up on most of these web sites and you will half to find a parts distributor to have it looked up.

Finding the Model #

The manufacturers over the years have placed the model estimate in many places. I will try to give some ideas of where they might be placed for you. Refrigerator: older Ge side by sides use to be placed near the front lowest near the kick plate. Newer model refrigerators are usually inside the fresh food compartment near the top right side. I have found model numbers for refrigerator in the following places:

Behind crispers, on the ceiling, where the door hinge is (mostly on subzero), on the door, in the compressor compartment (mostly on built in units). If you cant find the model estimate and you don't have the part estimate it will be very difficult to fix your machine. You might get lucky if you know what part is bad and try to have a parts distributor match it up.

Dryer model numbers:

Mostly placed on the inner door, door itself, or on the very top of the console.

Washers model numbers:

First check to lid and directly under the lid while its open (this can sometimes be hard to see) and the top of the console. Some older models were on the right or left side of the machine toward the bottom.

That's it for now! Please return the tech sheet to the spot where you found it in the appliance!

Thank you for reading.
